Irish Hard of Hearing Association

Adults with acquired hearing loss are catered for by IHHA which offers support and some social activities to its members mostly in the Dublin area at present. IHHA lobbies for better use of subtitles on TV and for COMMUNICATION ACCESS in public places such as The Airport, local churches, Public Offices, Theatre, Cinema etc. Lip reading classes are catered for nowadays by NAD. IHHA has a newsletter Hearsay which is published three times a year. Dublin social activities cover, hill walking, guided tours of the National Gallery and other functions which are advertised in the Hearsay Newsletter. Members of IHHA get the What's On leaflet with each publication of Hearsay.
