Deaforward

The National Deaf Advocacy Project - Deaf Advocacy centres on Irish Sign Language (ISL) access. The lack of ISL access is the biggest barrier to Deaf integration within society.

Deaforward was set up to allow deaf people to express their concerns, to present their views, have their say in matters of importance and provide information via ISL.

Deaforward will represent and encourage the Deaf community to ‘step forward’ and claim their rights.

“Nothing about us… Without us!”
